If you go to Boston, there's something you HAVE to do: go to Mike's Pastry and Modern Pastry.  Everyone debates who has the best cannolis.  We went in the morning, and the lines weren't too bad. Actually, at Mike's Pastry, there aren't really any "lines", just a huge crowd :). You pretty much just push yourself up front or else you'll never move. I think we were in line for about five minutes :) 

Modern Pastry is MUCH smaller, and we waited in line for about 1/2-3/4 hour. 

They have a couple of tables to sit at inside, and we were lucky enough to get window seats :)

This is a lobster tail...it wasn't my favorite. It was also slightly burnt?

This, on the other hand, was pure bliss. I love fruit tarts. I could have done with a sweeter crust though.

Sooooo.....who was the winner????? dadadadaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! I have no clue :) We only ate like one cannoli at Modern Pastry and then continued on with our day. We didn't eat any more until we got back to the hotel; and by then, they got mixed up....I still suggest you try them out-it was a fun part of our day :)

Walking through Boston was one of the funnest (is that actually a word???) things we did on our trip. You never know what you'll find around the corner.

I LOVED the Quincy Market. Seriously, this place almost made me move to Boston immediately.

We went to the Intermission Tavern for dinner...crab cakes and clam chowder. SO GOOD.

Heather lost her ticket, and started throwing her stuff on the ground...

Next up, cannolis at Mike's Pastry and Modern Pastry....which is the best? I'll let you know.

Our offer was accepted!!!!!!!! Now we wait for the appraisal and then the RD Loan people have to go over the loan before everything's okay. We'll hopefully move in early July :) :) :)

Gosh, I'm more than a month behind on this blog...my sister's birthday was April 10, and I surprised her with a pedicure date :)

Man, the jets on your feet feel awesome, and your legs (calves? lol) get all relaxed when they're massaged...ahhhh...

We went out for lunch at Goody's afterwards.

I got my usual: blueberry banana smoothie & a bagel with veggie cream cheese. So good.

We went back to the apartment for a while and Unkie Tim was playing the drums, so he started playing jazzy music and literally serenaded Micah to sleep :). Who would've thought drumming could put a kid to sleep lol!

After Rebecca and Micah left, Tim and I ended the day ordering pizza and watching The Hobbit. I was pleasantly surprised with the movie. There was actually comedy in it that didn't take away from the movie. Can't wait for the next one :)

Does anyone else agree with me that while Little Caesars' pizza isn't great, their breadsticks are THE BEST??? 

Tomorrow, Tim and I are going to our first baseball game together :)...with people from the company I work for, but a baseball game nonetheless :) Should be fun!

Boston Part 3

Paul Revere's house in Boston is awesome. I think we paid like $6 to take a tour? It's worth it. Even if you're not a history nerd like I am.

They say you're not supposed to take pictures inside (due to the flash), so I just used my phone.

SOOOOO much history on these steps. It was surreal walking on them.

Today my sister and I are going to garage sales :) Then tomorrow, my friend Heather and I are going to Grand Rapids to SHOP!!! I can't wait. AND I get Monday off. What?! I foresee an awesome weekend ahead of me:)
