Helping the church we worked with put on a new roof. I LOVE the roofs in Romania. So pretty.
Downtown. Many touristy traps. Lots of cheaply made things lol.
This was my team. I'm in the center, slightly to the left.
Shopping day...in our comfy clothes :)
I just loved walking around the corner and seeing places like this. I remember walking around the corner somewhere else and finding a bakery...and walking out with a bavarian cream-filled donut. oh my heavens.
Spending the day with the gypsies. They were amazed at my long, blonde hair and couldn't stop touching it :)
Eating at our hotel in Transylvania. There's nothing better than Romanian bread or their sweet tea. I could eat it every day.
We were on top of Dracula's tower. I can't quite remember, but I don't think we could take pictures inside the tower? The yellow house is where Dracula supposedly lived.
Our hotel room :)
The most amazing pizza! Back then I didn't particularly like ham or mushrooms, and I finished the ENTIRE thing myself. I would love to try this again.
Peles Castle. It was SO pretty inside, but they didn't let you take pictures :(
Everything was SO pretty.
This was such a long time ago, but I just love looking back at pictures :)
I can't wait to travel again.
P.S. There is nothing better than freshly washed blankets. I'm in heaven right now wrapped in one, and I'm constantly inhaling because it smells SO good. :)
