I'm definitely lucky to live right on Lake Michigan, meaning we have all four seasons-beautiful spring with its flowers, rain, and sunshine; hot, sticky summers; gorgeous fall with the changing leaves; and super cold, snowy winters. I suppose all of them have their perks, but spring and fall are definitely my favorites. Nevertheless, winter scenery is really beautiful.
This was SO awesome, watching all these birds just chilling (literally) on the ice...
It was actually a nice day (the sun even showed itself for a few minutes!); but after being outside for a few hours right on the lake, it gets cold :)
It's definitely best to come home, make some tea, grab a blanket, and immediately put on your fiance's slippers---have you ever tried men's slippers? They're insanely warm. It just so happened I was wearing my manly socks...
