Yesterday I went to Traverse by myself. I just needed a me day. And it was NICE. What? Oh yes, I was in TJ Maxx for TWO HOURS. And I didn't feel rushed. Ever. It was awesome.

 Love these.
 This mirror is GORGEOUS!
I debated about these shoes. They were only $40, but I walked away. I still like them though. Maybe I'll go back and get them :) Don't they look kind of dirty though? I can only imagine what they'd look like once I started actually wearing them.
This was a cute dress for something formal at Maurices. I'm debating on buying this just so I have it in my closet in case anything fancy comes along in my life lol.
Alright, you've convinced me that you PROBABLY taste good :)
I went to lunch BY MYSELF :) Granted it was only at a cafe, so it wasn't as intimidating as it could have been, but still. I went to Dish Cafe, where I got the Chubby wrap, which has smoked turkey, ham, havarti cheese, tomatoes, red onion, and lime dill ranch; I also got the Sunny smoothie, which has pineapple, mango, peach, coconut, and protein. The smoothie was DELICIOUS. The wrap was okaaaaay, but I probably wouldn't order it again.
And um, HELLO, that spinach tortilla was SO hard to eat because it kept ripping...
I sorta felt like an idiot trying to eat this lol. Oh well. I was so hungry, I didn't really care.
Seriously? I mean, this is sorta cute, but not for $30. I'm sure my cat would like it though :)
I splurged on some pearl earrings. Why? Because I deserve them, that's why :)
Okay, random. I saw this on Pinterest to use a wooden spoon while boiling something to make it from overflowing, and DADADADAAAAAA!!! It works! Just ignore my disgusting burner. Ugh.
It was a sad day when I had to finally through out my old coin purse :( I think this was actually supposed to be used for makeup, seeing as it was from Victoria's secret, but I've used it for coins or candy :).
This is my new one, from Claires' :)

Today I'm doing absolutely NOTHING, except for going to church and getting some milk from the grocery store :) Sounds like a plan to me. Hope everyone enjoys their day too!
Last weekend my sister and I went to Traverse to shop.
We ate at the Olive Garden. Seriously. I just about DIE every time I eat their Chicken & Gnocchi soup. It's divine.
We went to Claires' and pretended we were kids.
:)
We also went to McDonalds to get Rebecca some fries, since she was craving them. When you have a pregnant sister, you do what she says :) Then we went to Culver's to get me some fries-no, I'm not pregnant, I just wanted them.
And if you've never had their ice cream-DO IT. NOW!!! It's so good and creamy. I had raspberries and vanilla. MMMMMMMMM. Rebecca had banana with peanut butter and chocolate.

We had such a good day :)

Saturday I went to the variety store to get some seasonings, and low and behold, my sister was there :) So, we decided to make a day of it and get some lunch and go shopping :)
I got a spinach parmesan bagel with veggie cream cheese and a blueberry banana smoothie. YUMMO!
My sister got an everything bagel with plain cream cheese and a coffee drink. Her bagel was SO GOOD-it had fennel seeds on it (for those of you that don't know, fennel is in most sausages, so the bagel had a slightly sausagey taste? It was DELICIOUS).
Is there anything in my teeth? :) It's pretty much impossible to eat an everything bagel without getting some form of seed in your teeth. Or cream cheese.
We stopped at a couple antique stores-one of them had really old hats :) We had a lot of fun trying some of them on.
Go getum cowgirl.
I LOVE this china set. I'm considering going back for it. Is $35 a good price? I have no clue.
I love love love this clock :)
This is a candle/tobacco shop called Surroundings. I love it.
There is nothing better in the summertime than the smell of a tomato plant. I am happy to say this candle smells EXACTLY like a tomato plant.
It's weird, but this candle smells exactly like myself. I smell me when I smell it. Weird.

Tonight I made homemade pizza with homemade marinara sauce. I've FINALLY gotten it right. Tim says it finally tastes like real pizza LOL. I've been detoxing the past couple of days and have a major headache from it, so I'm making myself feel better by eating some dark chocolate flavored almonds...That's TECHNICALLY good for you, right? ;)

Best way to wake up in the morning: out on the deck in the sunshine, fruit for breakfast, and chocolate to read about (and make later, obviously :D)
My sister did AWESOME! She sold more than 3/4 of her pottery! I'm so happy for her :)
 These all sold out :)
There were actually people who asked us how much it was to take some candy. Seriously?
Rebecca is SO TALENTED!!! I love this. She had to glaze each of those squares three times; however, when you put the glaze on, it all looks the same color, so you have to pretty much memorize what color each square it.
I love how dainty these earrings are :)

My sister has an etsy page, spinninginthemud, if you're interested in purchasing any of her pottery. She's going to be putting up new pottery in the next couple of weeks, so watch for them :)

I can't remember the name of this cafe, we went here the second day of the craft show. It was so relaxing to go there first thing in the morning. And this French family came in, and one of the daughter's started playing Comptine d'Un Autre Été, by Yann Tiersen. We were in HEAVEN.

Last weekend, I decided to go blueberry picking. By myself. I HATE doing things by myself; but since everyone else was busy, rather than throwing myself a pity party, I decided I was going anyway. So I packed up my iPod and was on my way.
Dave Matthews kept me company while I picked. So relaxing :)

The blueberries were HUGE!!! And SO yummy.
They even had complimentary ties to go around your waist :)

I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It took about 45 minutes and totally worth it. Now I have a HUGE bag of blueberries in my freezer just waiting to be used for pancakes :) :) :)
