Tour of Boston Part 1

So I've been super bad about posting about our trip lol...here's the FIRST day Heather and I started touring Boston by ourselves:
We woke up and got ready, went down for a delicious breakfast at our hotel, nice and relaxing. We planned down to the T what we were going to do for the day.
Riding the subway :)
We started out going to Boston Commons, and this cute little big, well fed squirrel came right up to us, hoping for some food lol
Gettin' some one-on-one time with George.
Old South Church. This church was really cool. It's so awesome walking through Boston seeing the mixture of historic and modern buildings. This church was next to a skyscraper.

Park Street Church
Granary Burying Ground
Poor Mother Goose :(
Ben Franklin wasn't buried here-I found that out after I got home lol. He's actually buried in Pennsylvania. Some of his family is buried here though.

Hotdogs for lunch....Yum!
King's Chapel-if you're able to, MAKE sure to stop here. It's SO beautiful-we even had a soprano and trumpet player rehearsing for the next Sunday service. It was seriously PERFECT. It was exactly what I imagined a church this beautiful would be like.
Beautiful flowers for sale right outside the church
Old State House
Another awesome mix of historic/modern buildings.
Can you tell I love history? :)
